Brass Knuckle
$77.00
The Thorn Brass Knuckle is a one-piece, compensated saddle designed for T-style bridges with a traditional 3-saddle layout. Designed in 2004 by Ron Thorn—the first Principal Master Builder at the Fender Custom Shop—the Brass Knuckle replaces the three individual string saddles with a single, solid saddle assembly.
The result is increased sustain, accurate intonation, and solid coupling between the strings, saddle, and bridge plate.
The one-piece saddle also eliminates the lateral movement that can occur with traditional 3-saddle designs. This helps maintain consistent string spacing and prevents the high E string from drifting toward the edge of the fretboard. It also eliminates the potential for strings to catch on individual saddle height-adjustment screws, reducing unwanted buzzing while preserving sustain and clarity.
One saddle. One solid connection. No compromises. The Brass Knuckle is a small bridge component that makes a serious difference.
Works with traditional String-thru or Top-load bridges with most non-wound G-string gauge string sets (9-42, 10-46, 11-49 etc.)
