Fretrboard: Brazilian Rosewood
Pickups: Lollar P-90s (Neck 5% underwind)

Initial Tone Report:

Yep, this is what it's all about. This has got to be my favorite wood/pickup type/bridge ever. Have I said that before?
:D
#144 doesn't have quite as much grind as a Rio loaded Thorn, but the underwound neck and bridge combo has a great gritty vintage tone. Very Rolling Stones. I know that's the first time I've used that as a reference, it nails the Honky Tonk vibe. I dig it.

Looks:
After we picked this streaky young growth Brazilian board, Neil suggested something a little redder than the typical Brazilian Burst to match the board...brilliant! It all works so well that it's vintage looks and style just oozes class.
These photos were taken in the direct sunlight which makes the colors look a little more vivid, but I think it still looks great as shown. Look at the way that paua purfling glows like Christmas lights around the perimeter!

Neil, you were a phantom customer throughout this entire build. What...2 e-mails the whole time? Thank you for your patience and support over the year +.

I'm pretty sure you're gonna enjoy this one :D

Thank you!
Ron
