Artisan Standard  # 113

"Miss Luna"

Body: Chambered Honduran Mahogany
Flat Top: 1-pc. Quilt Maple
Neck: Honduran Mahogany
Fretboard: Ebony
Pickups: Rio Grande TX & BBQ
Bridge: Thorn Hardtail Bridge :D
Color: All Natural w/ Satin neck

Initial Tone Report:
Rock Solid! Yeah, even though it weighs less than 8 lbs, this guitar feels and sounds rock solid. It has huge amounts of sustain and resonance that just shakes the neck in your hands. The neck is powerful and thick but when split it opens up with clarity. Roll back the volume and it sounds like a vintage tele neck position...very cool.
The bridge is all about the rock. Very gritty and mean. I love rolling the tone way back in this setting....woooooman, you need.

If I could talk about the looks for one second. Like I mentioned in a thread before, this top is alive. The 3D movement is truly hypnotizing and unbelievable. I have caught myself multiple times staring at the quilt and just shifting back and forth looking at the waves rolling in.

Chun, you've been a saint during this build. I've got a real good feeling about this one...you're gonna love it :)

Thanks!
Ron
