Quick tone report:
Ohhhh soooo goood. A very tight and focused clean P-90 bite. Think super phat strat with extra phatness where it counts. This into the VibroKing is pure heaven.

Dave, I thank you for your patience during this build. I hope you love it...I know I do :D

Wow wow wow....... speachless.

I must say that #90 turned out so much better than I could have planned for. It really was a progression and changed quite a bit... particularly in the first few months when the specs were being laid out. Ron has been so wonderful with all of my requests..... phone calls from Australia at odd times of the day and all.

I really dont think I could have gotten a guitar that was any more "me" than this. I'm really looking forward to it arriving next week.

The mermaid is a fine example of the lengths Ron goes to. I knew I wanted some type of inlay... but not on the neck. A body inlay hadnt really been done before (other than trem cavity plates) and we threw around quite a few options for where she would go. We finally decided to put her where she is now.... and I thought that was it. Ron had sent me pics of the inlay completed before paint. When I talked to him a few weeks ago he told me he had done something "extra special" but wouldnt tell me what it was. I couldnt work it out. Finally he sent me a pic of the inlay about 2 weeks ago with the airbrushed drop shadow. A very small detail that could go un noticed by many.... but is there for those that really look hard.

This process has been the most amazing fun fo me. I have all of you guys and Ron to thank.

Rest assured, you'll all get an update in the next week or so. My 65Amps London should arrive in the next 2 weeks too so its going to be a big few weeks.

Cheers
Dave
