Initial Tone:
Nick's a Strat fiend at heart , so the 5-way is set-up to deliver most of the typical Strat settings....and deliver it does. Nick riffed some SRV, some ZZ-Top and a little Dueling Banjos and it all sounded killer. Crisp high-end but with a bottom-end that balanced perfectly, adding just the right amount of fullness.
That super cool red chicken-head knob is a 2-way rotary that splits the HBs...that's all Nick's thinking there - how cool is that?!?
It's a blast hearing a great player diggin' in on his new Thorn.
